EXPLANATION FOR THE CHART OF EMOTIONS

If you are interested to make a pilot study of the SDG Chart of Emotions in your university, please post me a comment with your email address (which is not seen by others). So we could start our correspondence. This model of SDG emotions  seems to be superior to the Plutcnik´s emotion wheel.  Maybe these two could be compared in the pilot study.

RECOMMENDATIONS :

”SDG Chart of Emotions is a useful tool in recognizing one´s emotions. It is of value in personal use, in counseling, or in small groups.

In my opinion, the overall picture of the variety of emotions and feelings provided by SDG Chart of Emotions is interesting and helpful. It offers a method of analyzing what kind of ”ingredients” there possibly are in an emotion. Therefore the emotion may be devided into smaller, easier to work through parts and new insights may be gained.”

“I have made a study of breath from acting point of view and am happy to find a kindred spirit. There is very little I have been able to find published on the subject.

I am especially interested in the analysis of the inhale as pointing towards admiration, hatred, fear and sadness , and the exhale as pointing towards disgust, affection, daring and happiness. One would not normally group those emotions together, but in respect to breath they share an important aspect of physiological response to a stimulus.

That is an important insight that will bear more research and thought.”
